Expansion at Harry J Clarke school underway

Fitzgibbon Construction recently started work removing the existing canopy from the back end of Harry J Clarke to pave way for a new six classroom expansion. Working in co-operatiion with Dalren Construction of Cobourg our crews were able to battle the relentless winter weather conditions to remove the canopy and excavate for footing/foundations to keep the addition on schedule for the Sept 2015 opening. The new $2.8 million addition features the construction of four full day Kindergarten classrooms, two primary classroooms and associated buildings, as well as parking areas and other site-realated improvements.

Special thanks to the Fitzgibbon employees and Tom Finkle at Bay Crane for battling the elements and working the long hours to get the job done.
